Salmon Pate
This healthy lunch is super rich in the omega 3 fatty acids EPA and DHA. Omega-3 are miraculous for mood and help lower blood pressure, “unhealthy” (LDL) cholesterol levels in the blood, and therefore reduce cardiovascular disease risk. Choose wild-caught or organic as farmed salmon can contain toxic chemicals, including PCBs and dioxins. Delicious and enjoyable, this salmon pate takes only 30 minutes to make ( including salmon cooking time).
Recipe:
Ingredients:
- 2/3 cup natural live yogurt
- 150 gr baked salmon ( bake for 20 minutes at 400F or 200C)
- 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1/4 cup finely chopped green onions
- 1 tsp mustard (optional)
- A pinch of freshly ground black pepper
- Salt to taste
Direction:
Place all ingredients in a blender until combined or just mix them up together with a fork.
Try it with rye crackers.
